ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE MACROECONOMIC REFORMS IN SERBIA

The restructuring of the economy is part of macroeconomic reforms with which, in Serbia, began in 2001. New processes in the global economy - globalization and deregulation can not bypass our country has chosen for inclusion in the global mainstream.Unfinished privatization and restructuring of the remaining large SOEs, large public enterprises and infrastructure activities, lack of an efficient process of liquidation, as well as under-stimulation postprivatizacionog restructuring, key constraints to establish an efficient structure of the real sector and the brakes are the overall economic development. The global recession has had a major impact on the economic development of Serbia, due to the incomplete process of transformation and a large backlog of other transition, especially the developed European countries.
